Grader Machine Operator - Day Shift

At Kono Seafood we farm, harvest and process mussels, using stringent safety and sustainability standards, to share with the world.
We are looking for a Grader Machine Operator for our day shift.
Hours of work 05:00am - 14:30pm
About the role
This is a varied role that requires someone who is physically fit, has a can-do attitude, is quality focused and understands the importance of health and safety in a factory environment
You will operate the grading machine, size grade product, label graded product correctly and accurately complete grading documentation.
Ensure adequate stocks of graded product are available for production accurate weighing and recording of waste product removed from production line/grader.
Our ideal candidate will:
- Have experience in a similar role
- Have great attention to detail
- Be able to work unsupervised and in a team
- Have a forklift license and osh certification (advantage but not essential)
This position is full-time, working Monday to Friday with some Saturday work required. We have a shutdown period around July which can vary from 6 to 12 weeks dependent on the mussel product.
